Jack was smirking to himself as he made his way to the door, his desire for his husband fully awakened by the time he stepped in.

"Honey, I'm home. And I brought these." He held up a pair of handcuffs, his eyes dark with lust as he looked at Thomas. Appreciating his decision to wear only the tie. His mind filled with ideas as his gaze wandered. "You look so inviting." He leaned in for a long, deep kiss.

Thomas wrapped his own arms around Jack so they were hugging each other as they kissed. "Good." He kissed Jack's cheek that time.

"Oh, but it isn't a job for me. I like looking after everything else. Organising things. Being who you come home to. You're so good at it." He relented and moved a hand to push Jack's hair back.

Jack sighed happily as he snuggled closer. He smiled at his husband's words.

"You're so good at all that, darling. And I appreciate everything you do," he spoke softly, eyes full of love. "I appreciate you so much. You do so much for me, for us."

"You always remind me who I am as well." An odd simple sentence that didn't break their no ex rule but meant more between them.

"Are you okay now or need anything else?" He smiled at Jack, all the love for his husband as they lay together.

"I'm glad I can do that." It meant so much to hear Thomas say that. He'd always wanted to be that person for him.

"Everything is perfect now," Jack replied. "All I need now is my handsome husband holding me like this." He kissed Thomas's chest and nuzzled into it.

Jack was definitely Thomas's person. There was no doubt about that and he liked to remind Jack about that.

"Do we need the blanket though?" He had a feeling that was how they were going to fall asleep. Which he wasn't objecting to. It was that he wanted them comfortable.

And Thomas was Jack's person.

"I don't know.. I'm already warm and comfortable here." He chuckled sleepily, nuzzling his husband's chest again. He loved feeling his naked skin against his own. "You can decide, darling."

"I know but..." Thomas did not want them to wake up with a chill. Even if they were warm like that together and comfortable. Maybe Jack had a point. Thomas didn't want to move but the logical part said he should now so he wouldn't have to later.

"Damn, you make a persuasive point." He stroked a hand down Jack's back.

"I know that look." Jack could guess what Thomas was thinking and it was enough for him to reach for the blanket to gently pull it over them both. He was soon back to his previous position, happily cuddling his husband after giving him a kiss on the lips. "We would've been cold later."

"What look?" Thomas laughed quietly, Jack knew him so well.

He settled under the blanket with Jack again, holding him as he had before. Smiling as they kissed. "You know me far too well." He kissed Jack again. "I love that you do."

"I guess I'm a quick learner," he grinned, returning the kiss. "And the feeling is mutual. You know me so well, too." They had a special connection and it seemed to grow stronger each day.

He yawned as sleepiness began to take over and he made himself comfortable, his head on Thomas's chest.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Thomas watched Jack, yawning not long after. He started stroking through Jack's hair again.

It felt so good like that with Jack. Happy. Content. Wanted. Everything he'd always wanted. He closed his eyes listening to Jack's breathing as he started to fall asleep.

"Goodnight, my love."

He smiled tiredly when Thomas played with his hair. It was enough to lull him to sleep and he drifted off to pleasant dreams about his husband.
