Jack was smirking to himself as he made his way to the door, his desire for his husband fully awakened by the time he stepped in.

"Honey, I'm home. And I brought these." He held up a pair of handcuffs, his eyes dark with lust as he looked at Thomas. Appreciating his decision to wear only the tie. His mind filled with ideas as his gaze wandered. "You look so inviting." He leaned in for a long, deep kiss.

"We absolutely do."

He chuckled, returning the light peck and nodding at his husband's words. "We'll cuddle now. And continue this later." He laid down with his arm wrapped around Thomas, smiling lovingly at him.

Thomas moved a little to cuddle up in Jack's arms. It always felt good like that. Even better after everything. He felt safe and wanted which is what he thought Jack had a magic power in.

"You have the best ideas." Thomas pressed his ear to Jack's chest listening to his heart beating. Better than any sound or piece of music he'd ever heard.

Thomas feeling safe and wanted was always Jack's priority. His happiness meant the world.

"It's because of you. You inspire me so much, darling."

He ran his fingers through Thomas's hair.

"Are you trying to make me fall asleep?" Thomas half heartedly teased Jack as he just raised an eyebrow, not moving from his spot. It was definitely his spot now. He slipped his arms around Jack saying nothing, just giving him a hug.

"Oh." He finally said softly. He'd not forgotten what Jack had said. He was trying to find words.

"You inspired me first. You gave me a reason to not give up. Keep giving them."

"You have such nice, soft hair. It's hard to resist playing with it." Jack chuckled. It was definitely Thomas' spot now and Jack happily accepted the hug. He kissed the top of his husband's head.

"You've been through so much, darling. I wanted to pull you out of that dark place and love all your pain away," he said softly, smiling. "I will. That's a promise."

"Now you know why I like your hair." He smiled.

There was a tiny snarky voice somewhere in Thomas's head that said 'don't make promises you can't keep.' But it was silenced pretty quickly because, maybe not all the pain had gone as evidenced by that little voice still being there but it was easier to shut it up. To realise that so much of the damage was being undone by Jack. Had been so far and that was pretty damn impressive.

"You've been through a lot as well." Thomas was not going to let Jack ignore himself. Thomas knew that danger most of all. "I want to have you with me to love you just as much." And then some more, he thought. He was trying not to let watery eyes that could be hidden in their position currently turn to tears that Jack would be able to feel against his chest. He felt like he was losing that battle then.

"I do indeed." Jack chuckled fondly.

He understood that Thomas still had some ways to go before all of that pain was completely gone, but Jack would be there to help through every step.

"You really came along at the perfect time, darling." Jack still carried a burden of his own, too, but it had become so much lighter with Thomas by his side. "I'm here for all your love, and to give you all of mine." He hugged him a little tighter as if he could sense the tears threatening to fall from his husband's eyes.

Thomas would always be thankful he had someone to support him through everything, good and bad. And he could give the same back.

The few tears that did escape then then were happy ones. That relief of emotions that he so often kept bottled up and hidden away. He didn't look up at Jack, instead snuggling against him more and pulling his knees up trying to take up less space. But he was happy and it was out of comfort not shame then he did that.

"Love you." He mumbled against Jack's chest.

Thomas gave Jack so much to look forward to. He loved him genuinely and he made him feel so good, too. And he was so happy to give all that back.

He wiped his husband's cheeks gently and smiled to himself. He was close to shedding some happy tears himself.

"Love you too. So bloody much." Jack smiled wider.

Thomas wondered just how their evening had ended up with them on the couch like that with him crying. At least it wasn't sad. Thomas had enough of being sad.

He moved from being against Jack's chest to resting against Jack's shoulder so he was able to see him. That Jack had just wiped Thomas's tears away without comment on them helped so much. Though it was Jack's words after that made it even better.

"I should hope so after you married me." He started laughing. That Jack could have him crying with happiness and laughing in such a short time made Thomas even more certain that he was going to spend his life with the only person for him. "I'm so lucky you did that already."

It meant so much to know that Thomas' tears weren't from sadness. Seeing him so happy made Jack happy, too. And it was so special how they could express affection without words, how they just read each other so easily.

"Best decision ever.. I got to marry my soulmate." He met Thomas' gaze with so much love in his eyes. "If we weren't married already, I'd do that right now." With that, Jack kissed his husband softly.

He moved to press his nose to Jack's after they kissed.

"I don't know if I'd do it again though..." He teased Jack for a moment. "But it was the easiest decision I've ever made. Saying yes to you."

"I didn't think I had a soulmate until I met you.'

Jack laughed, poking his husband's side playfully. "Cheeky."

He then nuzzled his nose with his own, closing his eyes for a moment. "That 'yes' made me the happiest man on this Earth."

Jack kissed Thomas again. "Likewise. All the pieces fell into place."

"It was all worth it."

No more tears, even if they were happy tears but there were smiles. "You asking made me that."

Thomas closed his eyes, getting lost to the kiss, to Jack.

"I'm so glad you asked. I mean it was all I ever wanted but with you... even if you'd never asked just living with you and being together would have been okay with me too." He looked at Jack. "That's how I knew you were the right person."

"It really was, darling."

Jack couldn't help but smile more when he saw Thomas smiling. He took his breath away. He kissed him again before responding. "The thought of standing at the altar with you, exchanging vows.. Being able to put that ring on your finger and make this official. I just had to ask." Jack would never forget that day.

Thomas wouldn't either. The proposal, the wedding... they were memories that brought him back on the bad days. Gave him brightness with Jack that was even brighter than the rest. Jack was his safe place.

He reached to take Jack's hand. Playing with the ring on Jack's finger he'd placed there. Tracing around it, then spinning it. Smiling the entire time and spinning the ring on his own finger with the thumb of the same hand as he played with Jack's.

A little hint of a frown of concentration was on Thomas's face. Remembering the day. Remembering the days leading up. He still would never swap a thing about all the stress for that moment with Jack. The frown vanished. Another smile. Content and happy replacing it. He still didn't say anything. Instead smiled at Jack. Pressing his lips to Jack's again lightly.

Jack watched his husband playing with his ring and noticed the smile on his face. It spoke louder than words at that moment. He was curious about Thomas' thoughts, but he could guess what they might've been. The same thoughts Jack himself was having.

He returned the kiss, gently brushing his thumb against Thomas' cheek, and smiled back at him. The moment was so special.

Thomas didn't make a sound, smiling back at Jack. As if any noise would break the moment. He knew it wouldn't. Not between them then.

He turned his head enough to catch Jack's thumb gently between his teeth. Looking directly at Jack as he held it. Teasing the pad with his tongue. Ruining the moment maybe, or more changing it again...

Jack hummed in pleased surprise as he watched Thomas, feeling the scrape of his teeth and the teasing warmth of his tongue. It definitely wasn't ruining the moment, only making it better.

He took Thomas' hand in his, lifting it to his lips to tease his index finger with his teeth and tongue as well. His eyes were dark with need.

Thomas smirked. Having an idea what Jack was doing. And it was working. Rather well. A glance up and he saw Jack's eyes dark and his own were the same.

He took Jack's thumb into his mouth further. Circling his tongue around it. Waiting for Jack's next move.

Jack smirked back, realizing what his husband was doing and he was all for it. He responded by licking a slow trail up Thomas' finger and flicking his tongue against the tip.

Another fun game for them to share.

Thomas raised an eyebrow. So that wsmas how it was going to be...

He slowly pulled Jack's thumb from his lips. Never breaking eye contact with Jack as he did. Then carefully he moved Jack's hand so he could put Jack's first and middle fingers into his mouth at once. Repeating as he had before, a little way into his mouth and circling his tongue around them.

He was going to try and last, because there was going to be only winners of this game.

Oh Thomas was so good at this. He watched those lips for a moment, appreciating the sight and sensation while considering his next move. He repeated the slow lick on Thomas' middle finger before taking a little of it into his mouth, bobbing his lips back and forth on it a few times.

Jack was determined to try and last as well.

Thomas had to make a decision. Maybe it was cheating a little but it was all fair right then. He let go of Jack's wrist. Moving his hand to Jack's thigh. No higher, or closer to what he could be reaching for. Just slowly letting his fingertips dance up and down Jack's thigh there. Teasing. He was teasing himself as well. So close but not touching or taking Jack in his hand as he would like to do.

Jack groaned at the teasing, giving Thomas a playful look. He really knew how to drive him crazy with need.

Two can play that game. He slid his hand down his husband's back, lightly tracing his buttocks with his fingers.

"I love how naughty you are, darling," he murmured while lightly kissing Thomas's fingers.
