Jack was smirking to himself as he made his way to the door, his desire for his husband fully awakened by the time he stepped in.

"Honey, I'm home. And I brought these." He held up a pair of handcuffs, his eyes dark with lust as he looked at Thomas. Appreciating his decision to wear only the tie. His mind filled with ideas as his gaze wandered. "You look so inviting." He leaned in for a long, deep kiss.

"I love that. You look so amazing." He kissed his husband's chest before resting his cheek on it. He stayed quiet for a moment, just listening to Thomas' heartbeat.

"So do you.. My taste is only for you to enjoy, darling," he murmured, sighing happily. "I love you so much."

Thomas laughed a little. Then his free hand moved to run through Jack's hair again as they lay together. Silence but happy content silence.

"I wouldn't want anyone else." Thomas couldn't imagine himself with anyone else any more. Jack was the only one for him.

"I love you too." Brushing his hair back Thomas pressed a kiss to Jack's temple as he held him. "More than everything else."

He adored the sound of Thomas' laughter. It was so wonderful and genuine. He let out a happy sound again when his hair was played with.

"Me neither. You're the love of my life, Thomas." He smiled to himself, snuggling closer. The kiss on his temple felt so nice. "This feels so perfect."

"I think it is that's why." Thomas couldn't get enough of holding Jack close like that, but then he had to carefully reach over and grabbed a pack of wipes and started cleaning up the rest of Jack's chest, abdomen and where he remembered licking the come from Jack's skin. Meaning he had to wipe his own chest too.

He looked at Jack. Utterly apologetic that he'd moved and made him move too but it was for a good reason and he threw the used wipe to the bin and put the pack back in the spot it came from. He looked at Jack again.

"Still love me?" He asked.

"Of course." He chuckled fondly. "I love how thorough you are about things. It's something I wish I could be sometimes, too."

He snuggled closer to him again and reached for his hand to hold it. "You're amazing in so many ways." Jack smiled again while kissing his husband's fingers.

He smiled. Jack's laugh was what he needed to hear. That it was okay he did things like that. Thomas was finally accepting that Jack was appreciating the care and nothing else.

Thomas without hesitation held his hand out to Jack, threading their fingers together as they settled back together again. This time Thomas relaxing again knowing that Jack wouldn't wake up in a mess, well at least from that evening.

"Thank you Jack." He pressed his lips to Jack's cheek. "So are you."

Jack loved being taken care of. He'd been so focused on his work these past years that he couldn't just focus on living. He'd lost himself for a bit.

He held his husband's hand and watched him lovingly. The kiss on his cheek made his heart flutter.

"You are so welcome."

Thomas smiled, his heart happy and feeling good as Jack always made him feel.

"You never told me about your day." The simple things that Thomas genuinely wanted to hear. "How was it?" Taking an interest in what Jack was doing made it even better when they talked all curled up together like that.

"Oh yes.. You were quite distracting." And he wasn't about to complain about that. "We closed a few more cases. Nothing too horrifying this time.. Missing persons and such. Runaways."

He played with Thomas' fingers while he spoke.

"I don't know what you mean." He smiled and didn't stop Jack playing with his fingers as they talked. "You've never come home to your husband naked and waiting for you before?"

A slight hint of a smirk crept across Thomas's face. Knowing Jack had indeed come home to find him waiting for him needing his husband.

"I'm glad." He hated the hard cases that weighed heavy on Jack. "I hate seeing you troubled with them."

"I have. And I'd love to keep doing so." He smirked back, kissing Thomas' hand a few times. "It was such an enticing sight. You're gorgeous all over."

Jack admired Thomas for a moment and leaned in to kiss him. "Coming home to you and your loving arms helps so much.. Are your wrists okay?" He planted a few gentle kisses on his husband's wrists.

"Maybe you will then." Thomas said a little coyly. "Oh you know the handsome husband who comes home is pretty damn handsome himself."

The little gesture took a moment for Thomas to respond to. It meant a lot. Thomas had gone so long hiding the scars he had there, where Jack was kissing. He'd been so reluctant to show them to Jack. His fear had been for nothing. "They're fine darling. Nothing to worry about."

"One day I'll step in wearing something I know you'll like. They've asked my help in investigating a guy somehow bringing items in and out of the local prison.. I'm going there as a guard." He smirked, thinking about the fun they could have with that uniform.

"That's a relief. I worried for a moment there." He kissed the scarred wrist again.

There was worry for Jack but also he raised an eyebrow at the idea of Jack in that uniform. Thinking. Frowning a little as they went through the scenarios. Before he settled on he was sure Jack was going to be okay.

"Well we both know you already carry a big stick." The idea of Jack appearing at the door dressed like that definitely appealing to Thomas.

"I was terrified about telling you about those scars. But you..." Thomas cupped Jack's cheek with his hand of the wrist that Jack had just kissed. Pulling him to kiss his lips. "You don't have to worry about them again."

Jack would make it his priority to stay safe. He'll have some backup in case things get risky.

"You know that better than anyone." He smirked, loving the idea even more then.

Jack leaned into his husband's touch, gaze fixed on his. "I know it wasn't easy.. The pain you went through. You're safe now." He returned the kiss with so much love. "You're so loved."

"You know I love it." He laughed, but it was true. He love all of Jack though.

Thomas took a little breath in then smiled. "I know." He didn't want to worry Jack, getting sentimental like that. He didn't talk about it much any more. He'd gone over it enough with countless medical people over the time since. Then he'd told Jack and that felt like it. Something felt different telling Jack, like it was done, a chapter in his life that wasn't going to be revisited. He let himself be vulnerable with Jack in a way he'd never done before. He still had bad days but they were never that bad any more with Jack and they were definitely less frequent.

"Other people said that to me, but it didn't feel real. It always does when you say it." His hands moved to hold Jack's face. Staring back at Jack... he loved Jack's eyes.

"I know you do. You just gave me another passionate reminder." He loved all of Thomas, too. He took his breath away from the very first gaze.

When Thomas had told him about what he'd been through, Jack had listened intently and offered support. He didn't judge for one second. He'd made it his priority to support his husband through the bad days and love him. His own bad days didn't feel so bad anymore. His horrible ex was far from his mind now.

"Because it comes from the heart. I'm always here for you." He placed a hand over one of Thomas', gently caressing. He really loved his eyes, too. The way they always gazed at Jack.

"That isnt difficult when it's you."

Jack hadn't known what Thomas had first thought when he'd seen him. He hoped that if he ever told him he'd see the good side to his thoughs. After all Thomas had thought Jack wasn't a real policeman and was some sort of joke sent by his ex that was a stripper. He certainly was handsome enough. And Thomas had in no way been disappointed when he had finally seen what Jack looked like under his clothes.

Thomas had opinions on Jack's ex, a lot of opinions but he never really voiced them. Jack didn't need him dragging things up again. All Jack needed to know was that Thomas supported him. Which he definitely did. Thomas was firmly on Jack's side. Nothing could change that.

"I don't doubt you for a second." He smiled. "I'm always going to be here for you." Thomas knew his eyes were getting watery. "I thought we were trying not to be sentimental." He didn't mind at all.

He'd be amused and flattered, knowing Thomas had found him so attractive. And now he got to feel it every single day. Thomas had boosted his self-esteem to what it used to be before he dated that guy whose name he didn't care to voice out. He really didn't blame Thomas for having so many opinions. It wasn't a good relationship, just something Jack had fallen into. A relationship with a selfish jerk, one he was more than happy to get away from.

Thomas had shown him what real love felt like and was absolutely hooked. He wasn't just some object to fool around with.

"I suppose we can't help ourselves," he chuckled before leaning in to kiss his husband, his eyes a bit watery as well.

One day he'd tell Jack. One day that wasn't right then so he'd know about it all.

If Jack said he wasn't just some object to fool around with Thomas would be the first and only person to tell him, yes he was but only for him to. Thomas wasn't about to treat Jack like that though. He cared about him too much. To mean that as some frivolous comment. It meant more. Like so much did between them.

"Oh shut up." He told Jack softly. The caring tone shining through before Thomas pressed his lips to Jack's in a soft and chaste kiss to the others they'd shared that evening. "Though there's lots of things we can't help ourselves with."

If Thomas told him that, Jack wouldn't mind. Because it was different and it meant something more. He never felt like he was only there for Thomas' pleasure and not his own.

"That's true. So many things," he murmured, affectionately nuzzling his husband's nose with his. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me."

While it was true that Jack definitely gave Thomas a lot of pleasure in so many ways, Thomas would always point out that wasn't why Jack was there or why they were together.

Thomas enjoyed the affection from his husband, mirroring it and stroking Jack's cheek. "That means a lot to me to hear you say that because I feel the same way with you."

Jack appreciated him saying that whenever he felt insecure, and he already felt it whenever Thomas touched or kissed him. There was so much love and desire there.

"I'm glad, darling. You showed me what real happiness means and I want to do the same for you." He turned his face a little to kiss Thomas' palm, just looking at him for a moment.

Thomas shook his head a little closing his eyes. "No. No you don't want." He opened his eyes, head a little to one side and a softer smile on his face that was for Jack alone. "You do."

He loved that looked from Jack. He gently poked Jack's face with his thumb and the smile turned to a laugh.

"Because you deserve the world, Thomas. You deserve to be truly happy and loved.. I'm so angry at anyone who's ever hurt you."

That laugh was so lovely and contagious. Jack grinned as he leaned in for another kiss. "I've found the best man on this planet and he's all mine."
