Birthday Surprise for Thomas

It had been a well-kept secret of Jack's for months. He'd dug out his old uniform, and bought a pair of tear-away pants to make sure his uniform didn't get ruined. He was both excited and nervous, but it was for a really good cause. Thomas deserved the best birthday possible.

Thomas waved the note again, long enought that Jack has ripped those pants off by the time he had decided that he should and there was definitely less fabric then. Which was better. Thomas considered it much better.

Falling asleep in Thomas's arms and getting to wake up next to him. Jack couldn't imagine anything better than that. He was so crazy about his husband.

He'd make sure to let Thomas know just how much he meant to him every single day. How he helped him through the tough times and gave him reasons to smile.
